Every year we offer 3 traineeships to students in electro-mechanics and/or refrigeration. The first trainees started their training in 1998 and have been employed ever since. If possible the trainees will be offered a regular position. This is the ay we see good and fair terms of employment.
The traineeship consists of 2 parts: the largest part will be done internally within the company. The other part is done at the technical school or another external institute. School-time is scheduled in blocks.
The entire traineeship lasts 3½ years and may be shortened under certain conditions. Next to craftmanship and technical knowledge we also focus on the important but soft aspects like teamspirit, motivation, self-discipline, handling critic and respect.
The traineeship covers a.o.:
- metalworking and electrotechnics
- basic construction of the mechatronic system
- pneumatics with SPS or Logo-control
- programming in SPS and Logo
- hydraulic principles
- turning and milling
Progress will be checked by an intermediate examination in the second year in order to inform the trainee and the company on the issues that need extra attention and to ensure a successfull result at the end of the traineeship.
We are special in the way we supervise our trainees. We recognise the weak points in time and give extra support in those cases through incompany, individual coaching.
The traineeships start the first month after the summer holidays.
