We are very proud that Porokylän Leipomo Oy relies on four of our energy-efficient EE624/288 infra ovens served by two fully automatic loaders from the COMFORT series as part of their Green Transition project. These were installed in Lieksa at the end of last year. Commissioning took place in May, after everything else was installed in the bakery. The installation is designed so that if one loader fails, the other one can still load both ovens. This ensures a 75% production capacity of the total 115.2m² baking area in case of failure. The system has a total baking area of 115.2m² and can be expanded by 50% with respectivly one oven of the same size. The energy supply of these systems is planned to be exclusively based on wind power, LNG and biogas from 2024 on. The project volume has a total amount of 7. million EURO.
Porokylän Leipomo Oy is a family business founded in 1983. They specialize in handmade baked goods with great emphasis on good taste, consistent quality and good service. The bakeries are located in the towns of Nurmes and Lieksa in Eastern Finland. The bakery in Nurmes bakes traditional rye breads, Karelian dumplings, loaves and sweet pastries.
In the bakery in Lieksa, delicious gluten-free products are made from high-quality ingredients. The gluten-free products bring good energy to the daily table and enable an active lifestyle without the discomfort caused by gluten and wheat.
