The modern, environmentally friendly new building is completely equipped with WACHTEL and was therefore ideally suited to talk about our innovations with a total of 25 bakeries, to bake together and to be together in a pleasant atmosphere.
Master bakers from WACHTEL and Steffl-Bäck presented our rack oven ATLAS, our new energy-efficient in-store baking oven PICCOLO PRO, our bread oven INFRA including loader and our long-term proofing system COOL RISING®. With traditional food, the visitors were able to convince themselves exclusively of the quality and advantages of WACHTEL. “Due to the numerous cancelled trade fairs, we often lack the personal, familiar contact with our customers, which is why the event with Sebastian and his top team was a successful change. We had a lot of fun getting to know new bakers and meeting existing customers again,” says Oliver Frey, owner and CEO of WACHTEL.
In 2019 the bakery's production facility burned down - just one year after Steffl-Bäck owner Sebastian Knapp took over the family business from his father. After the disaster, things are finally looking up again. “The event was a great success! With WACHTEL we have found a long-term partner for our bakery,” says Sebastian Knapp. "The baking results convince us and our customers anew every day and the bakery ovens and cooling systems also fit perfectly into our new, modern bakery!"
